These Noodlecats originally reigned from the lavish party town of Saint-Tropez, in the south of France. Mysteriously disappearing in the early 70’s, they were believed to be extinct… until recently, when a colony was spotted in the depths of the Peruvian Amazon. Like much about these felines, the journey of their migration is a mystery, which still baffles scientists to this day.

Known for their unusual willowy build and their bendy, acrobatic style of movement. Instead of simply walking they contort to form strange letter-esque shapes as they move across the rainforest, slinking seamlessly from plant to plant as if performing some graceful dance to a long-forgotten song.

Their vibrant coats, originally an asset to their native dance floor flair, does them a disservice in the wild allowing them little to no ability to camouflage. As a means of survival they have learned to freeze completely still in order to avoid detection by predators. Which, when in groups, occasionally results in the unintentional spelling out of words.

It’s believed that the increase in their flamboyant accessorising is due to their desire to be re-discovered and returned to society where they can once again rejoin their fellow nightcats of the French Riviera. And once more hear the music they so long for that has become but an echo of a distant memory…
